Become a Precinct Committee Person, also called a PC. These are the Democratic Party representative for your local area.
PCs are the building blocks of the Democratic Party.
They are the grassroots organizing base for all our activities. They set party policies and elect party officers. They also serve as party officers.
Under Arizona law (ARS 16-822(E), Democratic Party PCs are responsible for helping their Party register voters and assisting registered Democrats to vote in elections.
Many PCs participate in a wide variety of additional voter engagement and party-building activities.
Filing to become an Elected PC for the October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2028 term is underway. Check with your County Democratic Party and/or County Elections Department to find out how many positions are available in your precinct, and to learn about PC candidate filing forms, procedures, and deadlines. The last day to file Candidate Write-In forms is April 6, at 5:00 pm.
